CORY PERKINS

Cory Perkins is a director and technology expert for the 2020 Institute.  His background is in electrical engineering and technology history. His formal engineering education is from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where he first met Nick Tastad.  "I look forward to doing whatever I can to assist the United States in obtaining the goal of producing 100% domestic energy."  Cory has always been careful to weigh all factors and be as objective as possible regarding technological subjects.  "I am from an energy exporting state, and I look forward to the day when all states can either sustain themselves or find another state from which energy can be affordably purchased.  Our challenge requires that we be innovative and as fast as possible. The remaining 17 years will go by very fast, but I am convinced we must and we will prevail."
