My name is Cory Perkins, and I am a director and the technology advisor to the other directors of the 2020 Institute. My background is in electrical engineering and technology history. I have B.S. in electrical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where I first had the pleasure of meeting Nick Tastad. I look forward to doing whatever I can to assist the United States in obtaining the goal of producing 100% domestic energy. I find myself continually reassured that this organization seeks to weigh all factors and be as objective as possible. I am from an energy exporting state, and I look forward to the day when all of our states can either sustain themselves or find another state from which energy can be affordably purchased. Our challenge requires that we be innovative and as fast as possible. The remaining 17 years will go by very fast, but I am convinced we must and we will prevail.
